This drawing was inspired by a stormy, overcast day on the intercostal here in West Palm. This sea wall and tree is a place I visit often. I come here to talk to the Lord and allow him to love me and speak to me. Something about the open water and sky makes it harder to forget him. Especially on this day, when the weather was in turmoil, I felt as tiny as I drew myself sitting on the wall beneath the tree. I know I am no match for the grey sky, but I know the maker of the sky is and I am His!
I completed this drawing in about a couple of hours with vine charcoal. It was definitely good for my soul!
