Kelli Ford, a childhood friend of mine, commissioned me to do this drawing of her (left) and her sister Haley (right) for their Dad, Mike. The girls spent a lot of their childhood on the water with their parents, boating and wave-running. This photo was taken during a lunch break when the girls were pretty young.
I loved working hard to capture the lighting with charcoal in this piece. It was also fun to rise to the challenge of foreshortening especially in Haley's hand and arm holding the sandwich.
